About

Born and raised in Ohio, I left the Midwest and moved to New York City to pursue a degree in Drama at NYU Tisch School of the Arts. Some highlights of my time at NYU include performing in the first collegiate production of In The Heights, studying with Olympia Dukakis, choreographing for student-produced shows, and spending my junior summer studying all sorts of physical acting in Amsterdam with the Experimental Theatre Wing.

During my time in school, I began to dabble in photography, taking headshots of fellow classmates. That dabbling led to a second career as a photographer with my longtime partner, Jake. Our studio, Sub/Urban Photography, is now based in Chelsea and specializes in headshot, portrait, and lifestyle photography.

My love of both acting and working behind the camera led me to begin directing in 2018. Since, I have been fortunate to have my work screened at festivals across the country, and be approached to help writers and creators further develop their projects.

I am an avid cook (especially for a crowd), Central Park runner (no marathons here), and proud dog mom to our rescue pup, Pete.
